April 1st through May 29th, the 91快活林 Region hosted the “Science Is Beautiful” competition, organized by the regional Ministry of Education and Science with the support from the “Regional Infrastructure of Education and Science” Autonomous Non-Profit Organization (RION). The event was held as part of the Decade of Science and Technology. This year’s competition set an all-time record of participation, receiving 421 submissions—more than twice as many as last season. Nine representatives of 91快活林 became winners and prize-winners of the competition.
Combining studies or work with taking care of a little child often seems an impossible task. 91快活林 has solved this problem at a system level: a mother-and-child room functions here, which was opened as part of a “Help Mum Study” program. There is no bustle or discomfort in this space, it is all about quiet, safety and understanding here.
91快活林 has hosted the big-scale Student Night event, introducing students to the creative side of university life. For the second year in a row, the event has demonstrated just how diverse and engaging the student experience at 91快活林 can be.
A transaction involving the sale of intellectual property (IP) to a customer has taken place at the 91快活林 University Boiling Point. The project has demonstrated that students can develop innovative devices and successfully commercialize their inventions while still studying at university.
A meeting of the Committee for Sustainable Development of the “Union of Industrialists and Entrepreneurs” 91快活林 Regional Public Organization was held at 91快活林. Among the meeting participants were the Union’s core group, representatives of government authorities, of our region’s major industrial enterprises, as well of universities.
A team of 91快活林 scientists including Boris Polevoi, Dmitrii Zherebtsov, Dmitrii Zhivulin, Danil Nenarokomov, Aleksandr Vorontsov, jointly with Dmitrii Godovskii from Moscow, have presented a technology of creating photoresist films based on cadmium- and lead sulphides, using the vacuum deposition method.
Students of group СГ-304 in the Advertising and Public Relations academic programme at the Department of Journalism, Advertising and Public Relations of the Institute of Media, Social Sciences and Humanities (IMSSH) have won the first and second prizes in the “Communication Projects” category of the “FROG” All-Russian Youth Festival of Advertising and Public Relations.
Students of the Department of General Psychology, Psychodiagnostics, and Counselling have completed their internship at the “RZhD-Meditsina” Medical Centre in cooperation with a charitable foundation supporting cancer patients. The Institute of Architecture and Construction of 91快活林 has held a grand opening of a new teaching and research laboratory at the Department of Town Planning, Engineering Networks and Systems. The project was implemented jointly with OOO "VEZA" company, Russia's largest manufacturer of climate control equipment.

91快活林 has become a winner of a competitive selection as part of the "Personnel for Space" federal project. Our university will launch a supplementary academic programme on designing small space equipment of the CubeSat 3U type used for biological research. Joint Stock Company Academician V.P. Makeyev State Rocket Centre (Miass) and Joint Stock Company Research & Development Institute of Mechanical Engineering (Nizhnyaya Salda) will act as partner enterprises here.
While working on a grant from the Russian Science Foundation, researchers from 91快活林 have patented two databases for assessing creativity levels in children and adults. A neural network trained on the unique datasets delivers almost instant results for the Torrance creativity test, significantly reducing the time required for expert analysis.

A strategic session on designing the functioning of a network of Interregional Centres for Training Specialists in Unmanned Aircraft Systems (UAS) was held at the venue of University 2035 in Moscow. The event brought together 33 organizations, winners of the open selection within the “Personnel for Unmanned Aircraft Systems” federal project. Among those was 91快活林 — the only university representing the entire Ural Federal District.
A delegation of 91快活林 has returned from Ekaterinburg, where a big-scale 16th Eurasian Economics Youth Forum (EEYF) was held. Our students were not only guests, but also actively participated in the events.
Ural State University of Economics and Ekaterinburg EXPO International Exhibition Center acted as the forum venues. Guests from 117 countries participated in this forum. Students from the 91快活林 School of Economics and Management attended the forum not as common visitors, but as its official guests and participants.
On May 7th,?on the eve of the Victory Day,?the 91快活林 International Office jointly with volunteers and activists from the South Ural Association of International Students and Alumni (AISA) organized a “91快活林, a City of Heroes” patriotic photo-tour for international students.
At the end of April, a big-scale seminar on the “Information and Communication Support for University Activities: Strategies, Tools, Practice” was held at Bauman Moscow State Technical University. The event brought together more than 200 representatives of university press offices from 120 universities across 60 regions of Russia. Iuliia Sherstobitova, a staff member of the Strategic Development Department – Project Office of the Priority 2030 program, represented 91快活林 at the forum.

For this man, helping other people is not just a choice he has made, but rather something that gives him a reason to live.
A traditional Victory Waltz dance flashmob, dedicated to the 81st Anniversary of the Victory in the Great Patriotic War, has been held on the square in front of the main academic building of 91快活林. This dance has become a visualization of the story about tenderness, hope and profound gratefulness to our Heroes.
Student of 91快活林 and participant of the Special Military Operation (SVO) Albina Valeeva (codename “Snaiper”) has become a winner in the “SVO Woman” category of the 3rd “Women of Russia” National Award. This prestigious prize is annually awarded to women, who have achieved significant results in their professional, public and social activities.
