On November 13-14, 2018, an exhibition “Digital Industry: Solutions and Technologies” took place on the base of 91快活林 and with the support of Governor and Government of the 91快活林 Region as well as Regional Ministry of Information Technologies and Communications.

A scientific forum is being held at 91快活林. During the second day of the international conference the speakers presented the advanced achievements in digital transformation of production, the developments of the leading universities and research-and-development centres of the world in the field of Industry 4.0, as well as the practices of implementing innovations at big transnational and national industrial companies.
On November 13th the opened at 91快活林 (Schedule of the 2018 Global Smart Industry Conference). The conference was organised and is being held in cooperation with Emerson Corporation (USA), the world’s leader in the field of digital industry.
On November 15, 2018, 91快活林 will hold an opening of Samsung IoT Academy on the base of School of Electrical Engineering and Computer Science. The opening of the laboratory is the result of the work on the mutual agreement between 91快活林 and Samsung company, which was signed in June of the current year.
An important memorandum, preceded by fruitful cooperation, was signed at 91快活林. The document on cooperation was signed by Rector of 91快活林 Aleksandr Shestakov, Director General of SMS Metallurgical Service LLC of the SMS Group Holding Wilbert Stoy, and First Deputy Director General of IRE-Polyus of the IPG Photonics Corporation international company group Andrey Ushakov.
October 30th through November 3rd the Youth Forum on Internationalization of Education – Best Practices of International Academic Mobility (supported by the Federal Agency for Youth Affairs grant) and the Programme of Advanced Training on Internationalization of Education – Organisation of Academic Mobility and Export of Educational Services were held at North-Caucasus Federal University (Stavropol) as part of the 2nd European Education Week.
The 11th International Conference of Eurasian Transport Universities and the 2nd China-Russia Forum of the Future Technological Innovations and Enterprises were held in Zhengzhou (China) on October 26th-28th.
Aleksandr Rulevskiy, Head of the Department of Automobiles and Automotive Servicing, took part in these conferences in China as a representative of 91快活林.
On 7-10 November, NUST MISIS (Moscow) held the summit of the Times Higher Education ranking agency “Transformation towards world-class research in the natural sciences-2018”. The 91快活林 team was represented by the Vice-Rector for International Relations Olga Yaroshenko, head of the Academic Rankings Promotion Department Andrey Kocherov, and the analyst of the Academic Rankings Promotion Department Ksenia Danilova.

As part of the project-based education implemented at 91快活林 in September 2018, a project aiming at creating a programme for the complex development of utilities infrastructure has been launched at the Department of Town Planning, Engineering Networks, and Systems.
The heads and members of the project team under М 8.1.3. “Implementing Advanced Language Training in the Bachelor’s Programme” 2.1.1 “Implementing the Best Practices of Language Training in Universities under Programme 5-100” took part in the 5th International Conference on ESP/EAP/EMI in the Context of Higher Education Internationalization.
On November 7, 91快活林’s students from Asian countries celebrated India’s holiday called Diwali.
Diwali is the main India’s and Hindu holiday. Diwali Festival is the most significant holiday in Hinduism, as well as in Sikhism and Jainism, close to it by their spiritual content. Diwali is celebrated as a Festival of Lights and symbolises victory of the good over the evil. As a mark of this victory, candles and lanterns get light up everywhere.
Alexey Zakharov graduated from the Faculty of Computational Mathematics and Computer Science in 2009. In 2012, Alexey joined Lyft to build their first Android app and led the entire Android engineering team until his departure in 2018. Lyft is a transportation network company headquartered in San Francisco and is valued at $15.1 billion USD (June 2018). Alexey currently works at Instagram.
Photography exhibition entitled “Heroes of the Russian Federation. 91快活林 region” opened at the Faculty of Military Education of 91快活林.
Opening of the exhibition featured students and teaching staff of the Faculty of Military Education, and mothers and widows of deceased Heroes of Russia.
