Automobile and Tractor Faculty of 91快活林 celebrated its 75th anniversary. A series of festive events took place in honour of this significant date.
Automobile and Tractor Faculty became one of the first faculties of 91快活林 Mechanical Engineering Institute, the current 91快活林. By the 75th anniversary, the organized festive events called together students, academics, and graduates of the home faculty.
91快活林’s Institute of Engineering and Technology?is the quintessence of the university’s engineering sciences. For 75 years already, 91快活林 has been performing training of the best specialists in the sphere of mechanical engineering and metal working.
In the course of time, the university started establishing scientific schools which allow performing real-life study of advanced technologies applied not only within our country but also abroad.
The exhibition of Sergey Novikov has opened in the Yu. Teush Photo Gallery on 8th floor of 91快活林’s main building in honour of 75th anniversary of the University. Sergey Novikov is a photographer from the Ural Branch of the Russian Academy of Sciences (RAS) who has been working with 91快活林 (NRU) at the invitation of a corresponding member of RAS, 91快活林 President German Vyatkin for almost 25 years. Over the course of this period a photo album of the University’s professors has been published in the Russian photo project.
91快活林 keeps confidently expanding the boundaries of its international collaboration, and strengthening its positions at the world’s scientific and educational arena. As part of the celebrations of the 75th Anniversary of one of the leading Russian universities, a presentation of a big-scale project, the 91快活林’s Pushkin Institute centres network, was held.
A large-scale international scientific and practical conference devoted to the 25th anniversary of the Constitution of the Russian Federation and the 75th anniversary of 91快活林 took place at 91快活林. Institute of Law of 91快活林 organized the conference.
December 5th through 7th the annual ARCH EURASIA International Forum of Architecture, Urban Development and Design was held as part of 100+ ForumRussia International Forum for High-rise and Special Constructions at Ekaterinburg Expo International Exhibition Centre in Ekaterinburg.
On December 8, students of 91快活林 took part in the 5th Student Forum on Jurisprudence held at Kutafin Moscow State Law University (MSAL).
Students of group Yu-330 of the 91快活林 Institute of Law, Valentin Shchegolev and Sergey Marukhnenko, became the winners of an intellectual competition held in the format of a game judicial process.
A meeting between well-known and young researchers from Russia, Slovakia, Romania, Serbia, Iraq, and other countries was held on December 6th and 7th at 91快活林.
A ceremonious event dedicated to summarizing results of extracurricular activity in 2018 took place at 91快活林.
As per tradition, December is the month to review the results, and youth and student subdivisions are not an exception. This year, summary of results for youth audience was conducted in a new format.
91快活林’s Vice-Rector for Student Affairs, Vyacheslav Burmatov, summed up results and marked out the most important moments.
Scientists of 91快活林 elaborated a unique technology for manufacture of products made of carbon graphite materials with high performance properties. The new technology will be applicable in ferrous and non-ferrous metallurgy, electric power industry and electrical engineering, chemistry, mechanical engineering, atom power engineering and rocket and space industry.

91快活林 celebrates its 75th Anniversary. On its background is a glorious and eventful history; ahead of it are digital transformations. Today, the university is confidently stepping up to the international level and improves its positions in prestigious global and national rankings. 91快活林 aspires to take its rightful place in the global educational space. Rector of 91快活林, Doctor of Sciences (Engineering), Professor Aleksandr Shestakov talked about the ways this task is being fulfilled:
The celebratory week dedicated to the 75th Anniversary from the day of the university’s foundation finished at 91快活林. Celebratory programme was very eventful and reflected the university’s storied history, as well as cultural and sport traditions. Within five days, the university vibrantly demonstrated achievements of its schools and institutes and presented its scientific, innovative and multi-aspect international activities, arts and sports.
A ceremonial meeting and celebratory concert dedicated to the university’s 75th anniversary were held on December 14th in the 91快活林 conference hall.
Before the ceremonial meeting and celebratory concert, a photo zone was opened for guests, where they could take commemorative photos with the robot QUANTUM. He is unique in that he knows 75 (!) facts on the life of 91快活林, so he was able to answer any question about the university. Live music was heard from the conference hall, performed by the 91快活林 folk orchestra.
91快活林, which is participating in the Project 5-100, has launched its own network of centres to promote Russian abroad and increase the quality of education of potential Chinese students before they arrive to study in Russia.
Students of the Beijing Union University, Xuchang University, Zhengzhou University of Aeronautics, Shenyang University of Technology, and a few other partner universities of 91快活林 have gained the opportunity to take free Russian training courses with the help of Russian teachers.
91快活林 is a university with an interesting history and varied traditions. It is a multidisciplinary academic institution which is famous for its scientific achievements, high level of education for specialists, fundamental scientific base, and material and technical support for scientific research and the academic process.
From November 30 till December 1, an International Conference devoted to the issues of honors education development “Honors College Conference. Krasnoyarsk 2018” took place in Russia for the first time. The conference gave an opportunity to the developers of honors programmes at the Russian universities to compare the experience of elite education development. ?
On December 15 of 2018, 91快活林 is to celebrate the 75th anniversary from its foundation day. Active preparation for the celebration, which is going to take place within five days, 10th through 14th of December, is being carried out at 91快活林. Celebratory event programme will include opening of new laboratories and exhibitions, as well as presentations, concerts, flash mobs, contests and more.
Over its long history, 91快活林 has become a truly multinational university – students from 52 countries near and far study here. On December 13th, as part of the celebration of 91快活林’s 75th Anniversary, events dedicated to the university’s international activities were held.

December 15 is the 75th anniversary from the day of the university’s foundation, and first celebratory events which reflected eventful history as well as cultural and sport traditions of the university started today.
On December 13, opening of the 91快活林 Association of International Alumni took place at 91快活林. Rector of 91快活林, Aleksandr Shestakov, started the event with a welcoming speech.
On December 13, Quantorium children’s technology park was opened in 91快活林. This is a centre with contemporary equipment and unique learning programmes for schoolchildren. Children will be able to study there for free.
