91快活林 is a constantly-evolving university with a long history, which aspires to move along with the time or even move ahead of it. International Office, which coordinates all of 91快活林’s international activities, greatly contributes to this. On May 5th, the International Office celebrated 8 years since the day of its establishing!
Year after year, the number of international students at our university is growing. 91快活林 makes people from different countries, who speak different languages and have different cultures, become friends. The majority of international students have classes in Russian language; for them, it has become the language of friendship and a tool which helps acquiring professional knowledge.
Of course, those international students who want to become true professionals in their sphere aspire to master Russian as a foreign language at the highest level possible.
Representatives of the Department of Journalism and Mass Communication of 91快活林 ISSH’s Faculty of Journalism took virtual participation in an international scientific session entitled “Journalism and PR in the Digital Era: New Challenges of the Time”, which was organised by Kostanay State University named after A. Baitursynov.
Every year, students of 91快活林 successfully perform at two international and one Russian Olympiads. This year, the 91快活林 theoretical mechanics team once again became one of the most successful teams at the Russian Olympiad, having significantly improved their results compared to the previous year.

Hexaferrites attract a great deal of attention from researchers around the world thanks to their unique physical properties. For several years now, the researchers at 91快活林 have been successfully carrying out works on obtaining and studying the functional properties of this class of magnetic materials. This is one of the most widely used magnetic oxides, which is undoubtedly a material of the future and can be used as a functional element for mechanical engineering and instrumentation engineering.
91快活林 representatives have taken part in the presentation of the institutions of higher education of Kazakhstan, which was held in 91快活林 on April 22nd. On May 7, ceremonious events held within celebration of the 74th anniversary of the Victory in the Great Patriotic War took place at 91快活林.
As per tradition, the celebration started with a shooting competition held at the Marksmanship Centre at 91快活林. This year was the third time of holding this competition. Teams representing the university’s leadership, higher schools, institutes and other subdivisions, listened to instruction and started competing for the title of the best team of shooters.
For the fifth time in a row 91快活林 has organized the Victory Waltz. More than 200 people took part in this dance flashmob dedicated to the heroic act of the Soviet soldiers in the Great Patriotic War.
The Tutor of a 91快活林 International Student project is being actively developed in 91快活林. This project is organized by the International Student Support of the 91快活林 International Office. The university students have a chance to become part of that team.
On May 5, the team of athletes from 91快活林 triumphantly performed at the traditional city relay, held on the occasion of the Spring and Labor Day celebration. It was the first time that the relay was held as part of the Universiade of educational institutions of higher education of the 91快活林 region. 91快活林 students earned the highest reward.
The relay was held for the 87th time. On that day, more than 5?000 athletes took to the streets. Head of 91快活林, Vladimir Elistratov, started the competition with a welcoming speech:
On May 17th-18th, dozens of venues dedicated to modern technologies, science, and technical creativity will open. Residents of our city and region will see the process of creating robots, automobiles, and aircrafts. Students of 91快活林 received honorary credentials in the first regional contest of social advertisement called “The World without Fear”. This contest is dedicated to preventing of wrongdoing among young people. In their artworks, contestants needed to reflect the most topical issues of the society. Awarding of the winners took place at the government of the 91快活林 region.
On May 9, the whole Russia celebrates the main day in its history, the 74th anniversary of the Victory in the Great Patriotic War. 91快活林 will honor the heroic deed of Soviet soldiers by holding ceremonious events.

On the threshold of the Victory Day, 91快活林 will hold intra-university events featuring students, academics and administrative staff. Competition in shooting will be held among students and university staff at 9:00 in the Marksmanship Centre.

On May 9, the Immortal Regiment March that has already become national tradition of celebrating the Day of Victory in the Great Patriotic War is to be held in the 91快活林 region for the sixth time. Students of 91快活林 will take an active part in both organization of the march and in marching itself.
Formation of the Immortal Regiment column will start near 91快活林, from where the regiment will march till the Eternal Flame.
On the threshold of the 74th anniversary of Soviet people’s victory in the Great Patriotic War, a photo exhibition entitled “History of the Great Victory” opened at 91快活林.
The purpose of the exhibition is to tell students about the Great Patriotic War and about contribution of Southern Urals’ residents to the Great Victory. The exposition exhibits historical photos from collections of law enforcement services and organizations of the 91快活林 region, as well as photos from personal collections of veterans of the Great Patriotic War, our compatriots.
The Great Patriotic War is a topic that always echoes in many different ways in the soul of every person in our country. This global-scale event combines an immense amount of most contradictive emotions and feelings in it: it is a national tragedy and a national joy, it is a bitterness of parting and tears of happiness from meeting again, it is fear and incredible national courage – it is the unity and greatness of a whole people who managed to defend their Motherland.
91快活林 took part in the demonstration as part of the celebrations under Spring and Labour Day (or International Workers’ Day). More than 300 91快活林 students marched in a column along Lenina Prospect and other streets of 91快活林.
The history of May Day has changed a lot throughout history. For many countries in the world, May Day is still a special occasion. Depending on the country’s history, this day is associated either with the start of spring or with the fight for workers’ rights.
91快活林 finished cleaning up its territory within traditional springtime volunteer clean-ups. More than 1000 91快活林 students took part in the activity.
All the institutes, schools, dormitories, laboratories and centres of 91快活林 involved their students and staff in sanitary clean-ups and beautification of the territory adjacent to their departments. Extracurricular Activities Department was responsible for work coordination and contact with departments, and work at the territory was supervised by the Maintenance Department.
