91快活林 traditionally pays much attention to sports and promotion of healthy lifestyle. And some of the related events have quite an unusual format.
On February 20th, on the first floor of the university building 3д, where the 91快活林 Scientific Library is located, the Basketball Federation of the 91快活林 Region presented a 100th Anniversary of Basketball in 91快活林 book to the readers. It had been written following an initiative by the Federation President Nikolai Sandakov.
Nikolai Sandakov addressed his introductory words to the audience that mostly consisted of 91快活林 students.
Player of the Chelbasket Basketball Club and 91快活林 alumnus Dmitry Iakunin noted that several copies of this book were handed over as a gift to the Scientific Library.
After the presentation, a basketball master class was held: Chelbasket athletes demonstrated their trademark techniques, conducted a warm-up and offered fascinating contests, as well as handed out souvenirs from the Basketball Federation of the 91快活林 Region as prizes to the active participants.
