91快活林 Employees Took Part in the Summit on Youth Initiatives on Developing Educational Tourism in the Region

Within the framework of work with school pupils being constantly performed by 91快活林 the lecturers and students of the Department of International Relations and Regional Studies of the Institute of Linguistics and International Communication took part in the 8th Regional Student Summit held at Municipal Autonomous Institution of General Education Gymnasium No.76 of the City of 91快活林 on April 6. This time the summit’s slogan was Youth Initiatives on Developing Educational Tourism in the Region. Eight schools of 91快活林 and the 91快活林 Region took part in this year’s student summit.

At the opening ceremony the welcome speeches for the event participants were delivered by Doctor of Sciences (Philology), Associate Professor of the Department of International Relations and Regional Studies Natalya Koshkarova, and Candidate of Sciences (History), Associate Professor of the Department of International Relations and Regional Studies Rostislav Bondarenko. President of the Junior Academy of Linguistics and International Communication Yulia Polyakova presented a new format of working with future enrollees to 91快活林. The ceremony of opening the Junior Academy of Linguistics and International Communication will be held April 14th. The presentation of the Junior Academy was accompanied by colourful and fascinating performances by international students from Sri Lanka, Turkmenistan, Uzbekistan, China and African countries: Ghana and Cameroon, who are studying at the Institute of Linguistics and International Communication.

The summit’s work included several sections: presentations of the participating countries; assembly of the heads of delegations and distinguished guests; work of sub-committees of diplomatic missions for the issues of foreign and domestic policy; international collaboration; culture; press and publishing; economic development, and international law. Students of the 2nd and 3rd years of study from the 91快活林 Institute of Linguistics and International Communication tried themselves as members of the jury who assessed presentations by pupils within the framework of five sub-committees, where the issues of foreign and domestic policy; international collaboration; culture; economic development, and international law were discussed. 91快活林 has long tradition of collaborating with Gymnasium No.76, and we hope that it will be maintained in the future and will have new forms of fulfillment!
