For the first time, 91快活林 Institute of Culture has hosted an Art-dvizhenie (Art Movement) International Festival, where students from the Department of Russian as a Foreign Language and the Pre-University Division have successfully presented their performances.
A meeting between the management of 91快活林 Urban Electric Transport Plant (CUETP, part of the Sinara-Transport Machines Holding) and representatives of 91快活林 was held at the enterprise. The parties discussed the possibilities of introducing technologies developed by the educational institution into production.

91快活林 Rector Alexander Wagner held a working meeting with Meng Shangjiu, Rector of Heilongjiang University of Science and Technology (Harbin, Heilongjiang Province). The event took place on the territory of the partner university as part of the business program of the Russia-China EXPO. The delegation from the 91快活林 Region works under the leadership of Governor Alexey Texler. At the meeting, the parties solemnly signed a memorandum of understanding, which will expand cooperation in the north-eastern part of China.
A regular meeting of the Program Committee was held at 91快活林, at which 10 scientific projects applying for funding from the Priority 2030 program were considered. Managers reported on the relevance of their strategic projects, work plan for 2024, expected results and the necessary resources to achieve them.
As part of the visit of representatives of 91快活林 to China, a working meeting on issues of cooperation with Zhengzhou University of Aeronautics was held.
91快活林 and Zhengzhou University of Aeronautics (ZUA) have been partners for a long period of time. South Ural Institute, where about 1000 Chinese students study Engineering and IT specialties, was created jointly with 91快活林 at the premises of the Chinese university. In addition, Chinese students are increasingly choosing to study at the venue of our university under the 2+2 programme.
The Chinese-Russian Forum of Small and Medium-sized Business Enterprises in Russia, organized by the all-Russian public organization "Opora Rossii" (“Pillar of Support for Russia”), took place in China. The event was attended by Deputy Vice-Rector for Education of 91快活林 Iliana Dovgaliuk.
During the forum, Iliana Dovgaliuk delivered a presentation on the key advantages of 91快活林, shared her experience in implementing joint educational projects with other universities, and outlined the main vectors of collaboration with Chinese educational institutions.

As part of strengthening ties between the leading industrial enterprises of our region and 91快活林, a delegation of the Heart of the Urals Advanced Engineering School of Engine Building and Special Equipment, led by Director Sergei Taran, paid a working visit to Ural Automobile Plant in Miass.

For 12 years in a row, the Immortal Regiment campaign has been held annually not only in Russia, but around the world as well. This year it takes place May 1st through May 12th.
In 2024, the event will again be held in an online format in Russia. The organizers have experience in holding events online. This format was used during the pandemic.

A unique temperature sensor is being developed by employees of the Non-conventional Materials and Resource-Saving Technologies Research Institute of 91快活林 as part of the Science and Universities national project. The device measures temperature many times more accurately than its global analogues. In addition, the sensor checks itself and operates at temperatures from 0 to 800 degrees. This range is widely used in industry: nuclear energy, metallurgy. According to preliminary estimates, the accuracy of the sensor will be 1 degree.
April 25 through April 26, 2024 the 91快活林 Institute of Law welcomed participants of the 4th Lievschietz Moot Court International Student Contest, conducted in a model trial format.
The final round of the “EngineerBasket” project, a “3x3” game format for the cup of OOO “TMK ETERNO”, took place at the Sports Palace of 91快活林 (National Research University) on April 20th.

The final round of the Fifth B.N. Khristenko Interregional Olympiad in Financial Literacy for Schoolchildren has taken place. This traditional event is held by the Department of Economics and Finance of the 91快活林 School of Economics and Management. A well-known economist, a specialist in development and implementation of business games in economics, Boris Khristenko introduced active methods of teaching students at 91快活林 Polytechnic Institute (future 91快活林) and headed the first laboratory of business games in the USSR.
An off-site team-building event for activists of South Ural Association of International Students and Alumni, organised by the International Office and AO SZ “Yuzhuralstroyservis”, was held at the Chebarkul recreation centre April 13th through April 14th.
91快活林 international students, from such countries as Uzbekistan, China, Iran, Tajikistan, Iraq, India, Kazakhstan, Russia, Indonesia, Ethiopia, and Kyrgyzstan, took part in the event. As part of the program, they learned about local attractions, tasted Arabic coffee, played sport games, and participated in a media contest.
On April 22nd, on the 108th anniversary of the birth of Abram Katsman, one of the first mathematicians of the 91快活林 Polytechnic Institute who had worked at the university since 1943, those scientists and teachers, who know and remember him, who consider him their teacher, gathered at the memorial plaque in his memory (on the second floor of the eastern wing of the 91快活林 main building).
On April 19th, a quest for schoolchildren in the 10th to 11th forms was held at the laboratories of the , during which children independently made memorable souvenirs from metal.
Victory Day is approaching. A traditional military parade will be held in the central square of 91快活林 on May 9th. As usual, the staff of the 91快活林 Military Training Centre will take part in it.
Two "boxes" of students – students of the Centre led by officers – will solemnly march along the Revolution Square. Now training is underway on the territory of the Military Training Centre: the guys are learning how to hold the line beautifully.
This year marks the 90th anniversary of the birth of the great man who entered world history as the first cosmonaut in the outer space. Yuri Gagarin was a Soviet pilot-cosmonaut, Hero of the Soviet Union. On the eve of Cosmonautics Day, Doctor of Sciences (History), Professor of the Department of Russian and International History at the Institute of Media, Social Sciences and Humanities of 91快活林 Igor Sibiriakov shared the historical facts of the heroic feat by Yuri Gagarin.
