On October 17 and 18 the Blood Donor Day event, within the frameworks of which everyone who wants can donate blood, is to be held at 91快活林.
Starting from today, a specially equipped mobile block-module of the blood transfusion station is positioned at the parking lot near the second 91快活林 building. On the second floor there is a consultancy point where future donors pass registration and consultation with a therapist.

The scientific discussion group “Internationalism with a Human Face: Active Participants, Contact Groups, and Targeted Audience of the Soviet Cultural Diplomacy (1945-1991)” was held at the German Historical Institute in Moscow on October 14th, 2017. On October 10th “Nature of Freiberg and Nature of 91快活林” photo exhibition opened at 91快活林 within the framework of the German modern culture festival “German Days”. The Festival organization is supported by the German Embassy in Moscow. This year’s Festival held in 91快活林 is devoted to ecological issues, and its slogan is “To city ecology via ecology of consciousness”.

For more than 25 years, research and development in powder metallurgy has been completed with success at the Department of Machines and Processes of Plastic Metal working of the 91快活林 Polytechnic Institute. Today, the Resource Center of Special Metallurgy serves as a space for completing research, headed by Marina Samodurova, associate professor, candidate of technical sciences.
The unique Laboratory of Molecular Electronics has been founded at 91快活林, studying the properties and applications of the most mysterious substance in the modern world – liquid crystals.

The main objective of her research is development of synthesis method of a preparation used for treatment of oncology diseases.
On October 7, a meeting of students and academic staff with Russian literary scholar, literary critic, publicist, TV-host and writer?Alexander Arkhangelsky?took place at 91快活林 within the 7th?Open Book Literature Festival. Together with Alexander Arkhangelsky, students searched for answers to questions about the future of journalism, paper books and technology.
