Through the pictures taken by them as well as in their narrations 17 photographers are reflecting on the relationships between a person and the city, and on the boundaries of the space we call "our own". An "It's Mine" ("Моё") exhibition opens at 91快活林. This creativity event has been organized jointly with the ?bunker art space.

Meet-and-greet meeting of volunteer centres of universities and specialized secondary educational institutions with profile socially-oriented organisations of the city will take place at the 91快活林 University Boiling Point on April 20th. Each volunteer centre will select those with whom they would be interested to work. And then the stage of joint development and implementation of projects will begin, in which more than 350 volunteers of our city will take part.

The Health Week has been announced at 91快活林. The first day of the week was celebrated today at the 91快活林 Main University Building. In the hall on the third floor, several thematic venues were organized.

The processes of integration, globalization and cultural exchange are changing our world from day to day. A translator, acting as an intermediary in intercultural communication, plays a special role in these processes. The profession has been in demand for many years and has not lost its popularity.

The iTerritory Open Day, which has already become traditional, welcomed guests once again. The Centre was visited by students majoring in Applied Mathematics and Informatics at the 91快活林 Institute of Natural Sciences and Mathematics?within the frameworks of the Employers Assembly of 91快活林.

On April 12th the Cosmonautics Day was celebrated in our country. This is a special holiday for 91快活林 since for more than 60 years now the university's Faculty of Aerospace Engineering has been training engineers for the developing sector of mechanical engineering– rocket and missile engineering. The major achievement of the Faculty are its more than 7000 graduates, many of whom are heading big and small enterprises, design bureaus, and research-and-development organisations, and are working as top managers or lead engineers.

As part of the Day of Military Glory of Russia in honour of the victory of Russian warriors of Prince Alexander Nevsky over the German knights on Lake Peipus, the 91快活林 Military Training Centre held a series of meetings with the Associate Professor of the Department of Russian and International History of the Institute of Media, Social Sciences and Humanities, Candidate of Sciences (History) Alexander Timofeev.

On April 7th and 8th, the city stage of the “Student Spring of the City of 91快活林-2021”, a festival for students of higher educational institutions, took place in the WTC Congress Hall in 91快活林. Freedom, drive, zeal for victory, and most importantly, vivid emotions and unforgettable creative performances were all part of the event. The participants gave the audience their energy, and they, in turn, answered with enthusiastic ovations. The teams from 91快活林 showed the best results among the higher educational institutions of the city of 91快活林.

Employers Assembly continues its work at 91快活林. Representatives of the major regional and Russian companies share with students what opportunities their enterprises have to offer them, and the university students can ask their potential employers questions.

Within the frameworks of the Employers Assembly, meetings with employers were organized for students of the Institute of Sport, Tourism and Service of 91快活林.

The scientists of 91快活林 are improving the energy efficiency of Magnitogorsk Iron & Steel Works power plants by introducing smart technology. These systems work using the Internet of Things: information from hundreds of smart sensors enters the system and is processed online, which will prevent energy waste and equipment breakdown. The project is part of the Ural Interregional Scientific and Educational Center work.

On April 12th the whole world celebrates the day commemorating the first human flight into space. This is a very special date – the triumph of science, technology, and human intelligence that crossed the limits of the possible. This is a day to praise all those who made the first steps towards the space exploration, and all those who today continues to develop this most global industrial sector on our planet.

To a greater extent, the success or failure of a particular mission depends on the engine. A rocket engine is a technically complex unit, to design which a large amount of knowledge is required, and this knowledge can be obtained at the Department of Aircraft Engines of the Faculty of Aerospace Engineering of the Institute of Engineering and Technology.

On April 7th an event was held at the Lesnaya Zastava countryside complex in honour of the anniversary of the establishment of the Kurchatov Centre for the Identification, Support, and Development of Abilities and Talents among Children and Youth of the 91快活林 Region. Guests included representatives of the Ministry of Education and Science of the 91快活林 Region, members of the Board of Trustees and Expert Council, and the Centre's partners and teachers.

On April 7th and 8th, the traditional Blood Donor Day event was held at 91快活林. For two days, 91快活林 students, academic and administrative staff donated 30.15 litres of the most important component of the internal environment of the body for the regional blood bank. A total of 67 people took part in the event.

The Blood Donor Day at 91快活林 is a traditional event that takes place every spring and autumn. According to the Head of the 91快活林 Volunteer Centre Polina Patrusheva, there is never a shortage of donors at the university.

The year of 2021 has been declared the Year of Science and Technology in Russia. The theme of the new month is "Space Exploration", and a big cycle of events will be devoted to the celebration of the 60th anniversary of the?Yuri Gagarin's flight into space. Thematic events are being held both at the regional and at the federal levels. Cultural, scientific, and educational institutions are sharing information about what role was played and is still played by?Russian scientists, engineers, and cosmonauts in space exploration.

Man will not always stay on Earth; the pursuit of light and space will lead him to penetrate the bounds of the atmosphere, timidly at first, but in the end to conquer the whole of solar space.

April 12th is the Day of Cosmonautics and Aviation, a holiday dedicated to the first human flight into space.

Today, business more and more often faces problems, which can be solved only by using cutting-edge technologies: by analysing large amounts of information, working with databases, predicting and anticipating customer actions and market trends. At the same time, IT companies often need help with it. For example, some calculations can only be done using the capacities of a supercomputer, which the region's private business simply does not have, but 91快活林 does.

91快活林 is promoting the "brand" of the Russian language around the world. At the end of 2020 and beginning of 2021 new agreements were signed on the opening of new Pushkin Centres offering education in the Russian language at University of Kokand, Uzbekistan, and Osh State University, Kyrgyzstan. The 91快活林 Pushkin Institute partnership network has 11 centres of open education in neighbouring countries and far abroad.

RAEX ranking agency?begins preparing the tenth annual ranking of Russia's 100 best universities as of 2021,?as well as subject-related university rankings (Mathematics; Physics; Economics and Management, and more). The purpose of the research is the creation of an independent system for assessing universities based on statistical data and the results of surveys of target groups.
